This Refund, Return & Replacement Policy explains the conditions, procedures, timelines, eligibility requirements, responsibilities, and limitations relating to cancellations, refunds, returns, exchanges, and replacement requests for products purchased through the OMMNIBAZAR website, mobile application, seller marketplace, and associated services.
By placing an order on OMMNIBAZAR, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund, Return & Replacement Policy along with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Seller Policy, and other applicable platform rules. This policy applies to all buyers, sellers, merchants, vendors, and users transacting on the OMMNIBAZAR platform.
At OMMNIBAZAR, refunds, returns, or replacements are applicable only under eligible circumstances. Customers may request a refund or replacement if a wrong product has been delivered, the product received is damaged, defective, broken, expired, counterfeit, incomplete, or significantly different from the product description displayed on the platform. Refunds may also be applicable in situations where essential accessories, manuals, warranty cards, or items are missing from the package, or where customers receive an incorrect size, color, quantity, or variant different from what was ordered. Manufacturing defects discovered after delivery may also qualify for replacement or refund subject to inspection and verification.
Customers must generally raise a refund, return, or replacement request within 7 days from the date of delivery unless a different return window is specifically mentioned on the product page. Certain products, categories, or promotional items may carry different return conditions, limited return windows, service-center replacement requirements, or non-returnable status depending on hygiene standards, product nature, operational feasibility, or seller policies. Customers are advised to carefully review product descriptions, warranty conditions, seller notes, size charts, return eligibility labels, and cancellation terms before placing any order.
To qualify for a successful return or refund, products must remain unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original condition with all original packaging, tags, labels, accessories, manuals, invoices, warranty cards, seals, and complimentary items intact. Products returned without original packaging or with missing accessories may be rejected during inspection. Customers are strongly advised to keep the original product packaging and record unboxing videos while opening packages, especially for high-value electronics, fragile items, or products prone to transit damage, as such evidence may help during claim verification.
Refund requests will not be accepted under certain situations including but not limited to cases where the product has been used excessively, intentionally damaged, altered, tampered with, physically broken by the customer, improperly handled, repaired by unauthorized persons, or returned without complete packaging and accessories. Requests submitted after the specified return period may also be rejected. Similarly, products marked as “Non-Returnable,” “Final Sale,” “No Refund,” “Clearance Sale,” or “Seller Warranty Only” may not qualify for standard returns or refunds unless otherwise required under applicable consumer protection laws.
Once a customer submits a return or refund request, OMMNIBAZAR, the seller, logistics partner, or authorized verification team may review the request and conduct verification procedures. Customers may be required to provide photographs, videos, serial numbers, invoices, package labels, or additional details to support their claims. OMMNIBAZAR reserves the right to investigate suspicious, fraudulent, manipulated, abusive, repetitive, or misleading claims before approving any refund or replacement request.
If a return request is approved, the product may either be picked up from the customer’s delivery location through reverse logistics services or the customer may be instructed to self-ship the product to an authorized address provided by OMMNIBAZAR or the seller. Customers are expected to securely pack the product and cooperate with pickup agents or logistics personnel during the return process. In locations where reverse pickup is unavailable, customers may need to arrange shipment themselves. In certain approved cases, reasonable shipping reimbursement may be provided according to platform policies.
After the returned product is received, a quality inspection and verification process will be conducted to confirm eligibility for refund, replacement, or exchange. The refund will be processed only if the product successfully passes inspection and meets all applicable return conditions. If the returned item fails quality checks due to damage, misuse, missing components, or policy violations, the refund request may be rejected and the product may be returned back to the customer.
Refunds approved by OMMNIBAZAR are generally credited to the original payment method used during purchase. For prepaid orders, refunds may be processed through debit cards, credit cards, net banking, UPI, wallets, or other digital payment methods depending on the original transaction mode. In the case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be processed through bank transfer, UPI transfer, or wallet credit after collecting the required bank account or payment details from the customer.
Refunds are usually initiated within 3 to 5 business days after successful approval and inspection of the returned product. However, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in the customer’s account depending on banking systems, payment gateways, technical processing times, public holidays, or financial institution policies. OMMNIBAZAR shall not be held responsible for delays caused by banks, payment providers, technical outages, government restrictions, or force majeure circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.
Customers may cancel orders before shipment for a full refund unless otherwise restricted by seller policies or special promotional terms. However, once the order has been packed, processed, shipped, or handed over to logistics partners, cancellation may not be possible. In such cases, customers may need to follow the standard return process after delivery subject to applicable eligibility conditions.
Certain fees including shipping charges, platform fees, convenience fees, COD charges, handling fees, gift wrap charges, installation fees, or promotional discounts may be non-refundable depending on the nature of the order and cancellation stage unless specifically stated otherwise by OMMNIBAZAR.
For electronic devices, appliances, gadgets, and branded products covered under manufacturer warranty, customers may sometimes be directed to authorized service centers for troubleshooting, repair, replacement approval, or warranty verification. Service-center reports, technician certificates, or job sheets may be required before further processing by OMMNIBAZAR in such situations.
OMMNIBAZAR strictly prohibits misuse of refund and return facilities. Accounts involved in suspicious activities including fake claims, repeated abusive returns, fraudulent refund attempts, false complaints, manipulated evidence, missing product scams, or policy exploitation may face account suspension, refund rejection, legal investigation, payment restrictions, or permanent bans from the platform. Submission of false information or fraudulent evidence may result in civil or criminal action under applicable laws.
Sellers operating on the OMMNIBAZAR marketplace are expected to maintain high standards of product quality, lawful listings, proper packaging, accurate descriptions, fair return practices, and customer service. Sellers may be held responsible for counterfeit products, expired items, fake listings, defective inventory, shipping negligence, or repeated customer complaints arising from their operations.
OMMNIBAZAR reserves the absolute right to approve, reject, limit, suspend, or modify any refund, return, replacement, exchange, cancellation, or compensation request after reviewing all relevant evidence, seller responses, inspection results, operational records, and applicable policies. In case of any dispute, misuse, ambiguity, fraud suspicion, or policy interpretation issue, the decision of OMMNIBAZAR shall be considered final and binding to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
